Photos to Status Updates: Upload Many on Your Facebook Business Page

Upload photos to status updates on Facebook business page

Upload photos to status updates on your Facebook business page.  Status updates with photos get more attention, comments and clicks than those without.  If you’ve got a highly visual product to sell, you’re going to want to capitalize on that.

Every week, Tribeca Boutique tempts me with photos of a dressy top or sexy new frock in a status update from its Facebook business page.  Maybe the top has just arrived in the store, or perhaps it’s an outfit perfect for a coming holiday.  Whatever the case, the temptation is right under my nose.

Upload Photos to Status Updates

Add a photo is a status update on your Facebook business page.

Adding a photo is pretty simple.  Click the Photo link above the status update box, as above.

Add an individual photo in a status updateAfter you click “photo,” you see alternatives: upload a photo, take a photo, or create an album.  Choose “upload a photo.”

Here are even more tips from ProBlogger on how to use photos creatively in your updates.

Photos Tab

When you upload photos to status updates, they are automatically added to your Photos Tab.  To add more photos directly, click that tab on the left navigation and then find and click the upload button in the upper right.  See screenshot below.

Engage Viewers with a Question About the Photo

Engage Facebook viewer with a question and photo

To draw viewers into your photo, just pose a question.  Above, Tribeca shares their favorite fall colors, and asks about yours.  Wouldn’t you be inclined to comment on that?  And you might wonder what they have in that forest green?

Thanks, Tribeca Boutique, for this Facebook marketing tip on uploading photos to status updates.

We (all of us) Love pictures. It must be because they say a million words. People are more likely to read the text and they stay longer.

I couldn’t agree more, Jim. An extra step, but worth it.
