Facebook Welcome Tabs of Arts and Entertainment Pages

by Peg Corwin on September 12, 2011

What do those with arts and entertainment pages put on their Facebook welcome tabs?  How do they use their custom landing page on Facebook?

To answer this question, I went to the Arts and Entertainment category of our own Facebook Business Pages Directory, to see which pages used these tabs, and how.

Big Sky Studio/Tania Dibbs

This artist’s welcome tab has beautiful rotating images and background on her.  I might suggest larger, more readable typeface.

Facebook Welcome Tab Observations

  • Over half the pages listed in the Arts and Entertainment category of our Facebook Business Pages Directory don’t use a welcome tab.
  • Enticements for visitors to Like on these welcome pages include the promise of inside info and access to a contest.
