What do with event planning and services pages put on their Facebook welcome tabs? How do they use their custom landing page on Facebook?
To answer this question, I went to the Event Planning and Services category of our own Facebook Business Pages Directory, to see which pages used these tabs, and how.
Facebook Welcome Tabs of Event Planning and Services Pages
Bird’s Party, a source for party designs and “printable fun,” offers in return for a Like “party photos, fabulous party ideas and great discounts exclusively for Facebook Fans.” The tab was created using the PageModo software app. Click on the magazine graphic, Bird’s Party, to go to it’s online magazine, and on other images to go to the company’s website.
Chillax Factory Photo Booth Services
“Photo booth” of customizable prints uses their welcome page to encourage visitors to purchase customized products right on Facebook. The page was created using SocialApps HQ.
Of course a custom invitation and stationery page would have a customized welcome graphic. They show off their style and provide contact info and website link. The tab was created with PageModo.
CT Designs, Calligraphy and Wedding Stationery
CT Designs encourages visitors to Like their page by promising news and special offers.
A glitzy graphic offering to create “unique events, always.” This tab promises that they are “a professional entertainment service that will meet or exceed your expectations.”
On its welcome tab, Glamour says what they do and invites a visit to their website. They use a number of fancy pics to show off their party style, using the Pagemodo app.
For its virtual event planning for speakers and authors, Light2Success uses Tabsite app to create a graphic that, when clicked, takes the visitor to their site.
Facebook Welcome Tab Observations
- Out of 15 listings, over half in the Events category of our Facebook Business Pages Directory have custom welcome tabs. The rest landed visitors on their walls.
- Enticements for visitors to Like these welcome pages included party ideas, great discounts, magazine access, and complimentary planning sessions.
