We hear again and again that Facebook business page photos encourage Facebook interaction. In one sample, 37% liked or commented on photos, versus 31% for video, 27% for text, and 15% for links.
Facebook Business Page Photos: A Tip
If you create a status update using the Link option, any graphic in that hyperlink is a thumbnail. However, if you create a status update using the photo option and add the link as part of the comment, the image is displayed in a larger size. This big visual is what typically encourages Fan interaction.
PostPlanner and Photos
With most third-party scheduling software, you cannot schedule status updates with photos. But with the Postplanner app (I proudly use an affiliate link), you can pre-plan updates with Facebook business page photos. There’s a 30 day free trial for use with your Facebook page, and it’s $4.95 per month after that.
Start collecting and posting Facebook business page photos on a regular basis for max fan interaction.
