Facebook Tools for Business

Facebook tools for business, including Hootsuite

I’ve pulled together these Facebook tools for business  to help you build and manage your Facebook business page. These include software to schedule posts on your Facebook page, apps to create various tabs, Facebook marketing training, and Facebook page evaluation software.

I’m behind them 100%.  I invite you to bookmark and share this page with others.

Manage Your Page with Facebook Page Software

I recommend Hootsuite, Sprout Social and PostPlanner to small business page administrators to schedule status updates on their Facebook business pages.  To find out which is right for you, see my detailed, full-page comparision — click HERE.

Page Apps I Use

Contactme
Create a “contact me” tab for your Facebook page, for free, to enable people to email you privately. The paid version of  Contactme is a basic CRM, customer relationship management tool.  This single tab is free, but you much share your Facebook data with the app.  To get a free Contact Me tab , and to learn about all its web-based contact management features, click HERE.

Networked Blogs.
I use Networked Blogs to import this Using Facebook for Business Marketing blog into a tab on my Facebook for Business page.  And so do other high-powered business users like Larry Brauner and Mari Smith.  You can also have it automatically create an update for each post in the page of your news feed, but I prefer to do it manually, in hopes of reading more of my fans.  The Networked Blogs app is free, but as with many apps, you must share Facebook data. To get started with Networked Blogs, click HERE.

Facebook tools for business, including Mailchimp

MailChimp
To encourage Fans to register for an email newsletter from this blog, I’ve added an email signup tab from Mail Chimp.  I love the wry humor of their routine communications.  (When I send out an email campaign,  the chimp emails an announcement that closes with “You totally deserve a raise.”)  I use its auto-responders to encourage submissions to our free Facebook Business Pages Directory, to point new users to resource pages on the blog and more.  I love it and am proud to use an affiliate link.  To make the most of your blog subscribers (and for some monkey love) click HERE.

Tabsite
Tabsite helps non-technical types like me create custom Facebook welcome pages and landing tabs. I use it for a very basic Welcome tab, but it has many features I have yet to exploit. Basic features are free in return for allowing the app access to your Facebook data.  I find it easy to use these features to create a custom tab and am proud to recommend Tabsite with an affiliate link — click HERE.
